Givenchy Pre-Fall/Winter 2014

If there is anything that Riccardo Tisci cannot do, it is failing us with his artistry. Because no matter what gender you are, what age you are, if you love fashion, you love Givenchy - especially under the one and only Mr. Tisci. Like we said earlier, he can never fail us. For Givenchy's Pre-Fall/Winter 2014 collection, Tisci ultimately tops it by adding tropical hues to the black-and-beige-dominated pieces. The patterns that are used really give off the modern Givenchy vibe, while the amount of sequins and fur add sophistication. Justice is an understatement to what Tisci did with this collection.

OOTD: Chiara Ferragni

What are the odds that right now you are wearing a white top today? A study says that of the ridiculously wide range of colors, there is a large possibility of 31% that you opted for white. It may be no different for out favorite Italian Chiara Ferragni a.k.a. The Blonde Salad. She paired her  combined her (lowly buttoned) white shirt with a nude mini skirt pulled to her waist and kept it chill with herblack platform sandals. A very classic combination indeed. What is so fresh about this outfit is that she has a backpack on instead of her usual fancy ladylike bags and whatnot. Nevertheless, we love her whatever kind of bag she wears and we are for sure going to wear a white top and nude bottom tomorrow! A backpack too? Perhaps? (Check out the sick background with the neon lights!

Oversized Bag? What Oversized Bag?

12:14 AM FashionTV Indonesia 0 Comments

Who says a versatile bag is one that can fit ALL your stuffs? Versatility is about the basics. 2014's versatile bag is one that is no larger than a kitten and one that fits all your ESSENTIALS; your phone, small purse, keys, and lipstick - never forget lipstick. Not only designers have chosen to create small bags, they also seem to have shrunken their larger designs. We have our eyes on Fendi's Mini Peekaboo and Proenza Schouler's Tiny PS1. However, regardless of the designer, these tiny babies are made to liberate your shoulder from agonizing pain, to help you be practical in running errands, and of course, to make you the most stylish lady in the room!

Fall 2014 Trends

11:59 PM FashionTV Indonesia 0 Comments

Find out how to incorporate this year's fall trends into not-so-sweater weather outfits. Rid your wardrobe of those trackpants from last season and make sure these trends replace the lilac spaghetti strap flare crop top in your wardrobe.

Mad Plaid
Don't fret over the fact that all these are coats. A sunny day calls for some plaid love as well! Pair a fluffy plaid top with matching knee-length palazzos and you're ready to go.

Thakoon, Delpozo, Calla

Knits All Over
One of the downsides of living in a tropical country is the minimum chance of wearing heavy knits. But guess what? A little bit won't hurt. Skip the usual cardigan for a piece of chunky knitted top and skirt on a rainy day.

Dion Lee, Michael Kors, Helmut Lang

Jade Fest
Grateful we are that emerald doesn't only exist in the Land of Oz. Because if so, we wouldn't be talking about these beautiful jade ensembles by out favorite designers. A tailored jade (vynil, preferrably) jacket paired with a nice snuggly t-shirt and jacquard pencil pants is your way to go.

Proenza Schouler, Prabal Gurung, Narciso Rodriguez

Shearling Sheath

This is very tricky. We can't just storm into the streets of Jakarta wearing heavy fur. Keep it simple and save the rest. You'll do great with a white tank underneath a brown shearling waistcoat, and a classic pair of ripped denim shorts.

Ralph Lauren, Libertine, DKNY
