Public School was one of the very few designers to release a collection for both sexes in this year's NYFW. As if to diminish differences, the overall collection was androgynous. Navy, black and white play major roles in the collection. This color palette was apparently a smart choice for colorblocking. Solid tops, pleated bottoms, mesh dresses and fezes serenaded the show. Yes, the fez - the red Turkish hat, but modernised by Public School. Other than the color palette, contrast was also found between the footwear and outerwear. Long-sleeved outerwear were paired with strappy sandals going all the way to the calf. All in all, Public School was a fresh breath for the younger enthusiasts.
