A Mykonos State of Mind
Mykonos is a small island 150 km east of Athens in the Aegean Sea. Despite Greece being known for its idyllic heaven on earth Santorini, Mykonos is one that can compare.
Mykonos is surrounded by the bluest sea and the most beautiful beaches. Sunset chasers shall find deep satisfaction from the beautiful color the sky gives off every evening. Aside from its numerous beaches, (hence its nickname Capri of Greece) Mykonos is home to Greek's quintessences. White Mediterranean buildings grace the streets, creating a dramatic view side by side with the sea.
Mykonos boasts a handful of landmarks making it a frequently visited tourist destination. Among the tourist attractions, the Mykonos windmills are the most popular. A couple museums including Folklore Museum, Archaeological Museum of Mykonos and Aegean Maritime Museum are also tourists' favorites. If you have love for the seas, a sprinkle of historical goodness, white, and blue, Mykonos sure is the place to go.
