Shades of Grey
There was once a time where grey was deemed unfit for society. The somber aura it gives off often just repels people. Grey on your body means "I am the cousin of the Addams once removed and extremely boring" written all over your face. But those days are long gone. The dawn of a dusky hue has come.
Since the coming of sartorial sportswear master Alexander Wang, the color spectrum in the fashion industry seemed to have shortened. Saying color spectrum seems to be incorrect however, as black, white, and the wide range in between, which make up the wardrobes of many fashion bloggers across the world since 201x, are not colors. Regardless of its classification or image, grey has made a name for itself, gracing streets and catwalks from Paris to New York, from Sydney to Stockholm (yes, Swedes dig greys).

The poise of the contrast of the two most basic hues brings out a sense of balance, calmness, composure, without making an outfit less interesting that it should be. Vanessa Hong of The Haute Pursuit shows us why it's true.
These designer looks will convince you, if not to avoid, but to try to grey.
